Service Description

Tucked into the heart of the west coast on Achill Island, Becky will be hosting a surf retreat for women at the Pure Magic Lodge on the 16-18th October. This is for both complete newbies to the outdoors, to surfers looking to connect with likeminded women: everyone is welcome! This weekend will include: - Two nights of shared accommodation in a cosy lodge (options for private rooms also available) - Sharing starters, hearty dinners and breakfast included - Surf session with qualified instructors and wetsuit, board and lesson included for those who need it - Sauna and chilly sea dip session - Scenic hike up Keem Hill - Two workshops: focusing on connection, the benefits of water on mental wellbeing to guide the weekend and get to know each other better, and a second session on water and outdoor safety in winter, to encourage and build confidence to get outside in every season and make the most of it! This is all about creating a safe and supportive environment for women to have an urge out of their comfort zones and into the outdoors with likeminded women. It’s a place to make lasting connections and uncover the potential that the wild Atlantic coast can have on our minds and wellbeing, while having a good bit of craic. Explore Irish waters, and return to cosy environments with hot chocolate and purposeful conversations around the outdoors.
